graze is a restaurant-rating app built in Melbourne. We respect your privacy and only collect what we need to make the app work. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and what your rights are.
If you have questions, email [email protected].
1. Who we are
graze is operated by Jake Oh, based in Melbourne, Australia. References to "we", "us", or "graze" in this policy mean us.
2. What information we collect
When you sign in
- Your email address (if you use email sign-in)
- Your name and email from Apple (if you use Sign In with Apple). Apple may give us a private relay email instead of your real one — that's your choice on Apple's screen, and we respect it.
- Follow relationships — who you follow and who follows you
- Your display name, username, bio, and avatar (your public profile)
When you use graze
- Restaurant ratings, verdicts, and dish notes you write
- Photos you choose to upload with a rating or visit
- Reactions (👍/👎) on other users' ratings
- Bookmarks of restaurants you want to try
- Visit dates and notes you log in your diary
When you use the map
- Your approximate location — only at the moment you tap the 📍 button on the map. We do not track your location in the background. We do not store your location on our servers — it's used only to centre the map on your device.
